The next question that people ask is
“When and how do Google pay you?”
If you have checked the links above,
you might already know the process but
in case you don’t; I can tell
you in short. Adsense pays you nearly
about a month after your earnings reach
100 dollars. But it will count your
earnings at the end of every month.
So let’s make an example case
that in the month April, 2006 the clicks
received from your site made up 150
dollars then in May, 2006 you got 80
dollars and in June, 2006 your site
made 90 dollars. Now in at 30th April,
2006 your earnings are already over
100 dollars so in the 1st week of May,
2006 you will see an Earnings link in
your account and if you click on this
link you will see more detail of your
earnings for April, 2006. This means
that 150 dollars is the payment that
you will get from Google Adsense. In
about two weeks somewhere around 20th,
May you will see a Payment in Progress
link in your account. That is you can
say the verification period as Google
makes sure that no fraud was involved
in the clicks. It does not take longer
when your account qualifies for the
payment. Once you see the Payment in
Progress link in your account, you are
soon going to get your money. I can
not say how long it takes if you are
to receive a check from Google with
post but I receive my payment with Electronic
Transfer directly to the bank account
and this happens within the next 2 weeks
after I see the payment in progress
link. At the end you see a Payment link
and that means that Google has sent
you the payment.
Do not forget that Google can have a
technical mistake also just like every
other organisation, and if your payment
gets a little late then also there is
no need to panic. You can always send
questions regarding your payment issues
to Google in email and you get a reply
normally within a day. My personal tip
here would be that try to avoid unnecessary
stuff in your mails to Google and use
simple and straight forward phrases
and sentences. The reason is that Google
depends mostly on machines. In normal
cases your payment or technical issue
will be solved and replied by a machine
and not by a human being, so a simple
phrased question will probably give
you a better and perfect solution. In
this case also, do not under-estimate
Google’s machines. They analyse
the words and phrases perfectly and
would never give you a wrong answer. |
