a good Anti Virus such as
Norton, McAfee or Panda with
Internet Security/Firewall

Enable Firewall at your Router
or if you are using just Access
Point without Firewall option,
install any software Firewall
or enable Windows XP Firewall

Keep an eye on the access
logs at your Router, this
will show you the list of
the users who had been accessing
your resources
